The latest major version of digitalsignage.NET takes full advantage of HTML5 technology, creating a compelling solution for those looking for maximum content flexibility.

Users will be able to use and create HTML5 widgets using HTML, Javascript, and CSS. These widgets can be displayed on screens in a layout to create dedicated areas for dynamic content such as weather, news, Twitter, QR code and Flickr feeds among others. The number of pre-created widgets will continuously grow over time.

A simple web-based user interface, it allows you to upload your media files in three simple stages: Add, Schedule and Publish. You can drag and drop the uploaded images and videos straight into your Playlist and get your content published on the screens in seconds.

With the addition of HTML5 support, dynamic content via our widgets (eg. news, 3 day weather, travel, Twitter), your screens will be energised with real-time information.

digitalsignage.NET portal can be accessed from any standard PC or MAC connected to the Internet and manage your files.

To publish them on your screens, you will need any SMIL or HTML5- based device or Window 7, Vista, Windows XP PC (that will act as your media player.) SMIL based devices are solid state and have no operating system, making them extremely easy to setup (no software installation required) and whisper quiet. Just add basic information, time zone, date, and content source via the SMIL menu.
